The LG Thrive is slated to be the first smartphone for GoPhone, while its post-paid version is known as the LG Phoenix, where it will hit the market this coming April 17th from LG Mobile Phones. Both of them will be powered by the Android 2.2 Froyo operating system , and you can pick them up from AT&T stores throughout the country. Shared specifications include a 3.2″ color full-touchscreen display, Exchange email support, unlimited Wi-Fi connectivity across the national AT&T Wi-Fi Hot Spot network and a 3.2-megapixel camera to help you capture impromptu moments. As for the LG Thrive’s data packages and voice plans, you can get a new prepaid data package for $25, delivering 500MB of data. Other plans include $5 for 10MB of data or $15 for 100MB of data.
