Facebook logoWho says you need a “Facebook button” on the phone to qualify as a Facebook device? Move aside HTC Salsa and ChaCha, Sony Ericsson’s new mini phones are here, and the word is that these phones will also be tightly integrated with Facebook. For example, if a user likes a music track on his/her device, the phone can automatically share it on the user’s Facebook profile, just like how Facebook handles its users liking links, and videos online now.

Other Facebook integration features include the ability to see Facebook alerts appear on the lockscreen, Facebook events within the Xperia calendar app, and the ability to interact with photo albums that belong to a user’s friends from the photo app itself. Talk about tightly integrated! The Xperia Mini and Mini Pro will come out of the box with these functions, and Sony Ericsson will also be rolling out the feature to the Xperia Arc and Xperia Play sometime during Q2 this year. Facebook fans rejoice!
