How many of you would love to have a digital photo frame sitting in your living room? Well, it isn’t exactly the best selling consumer electronics device around, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t a large enough market to support new releases from time to time. Sony’s latest effort will comprise of three digital photo frames from the HD Series S-Frame. These will not only let you and others enjoy your favorite digital memories, but it will also be able to support 1920 × 1080 HD video playback. Yes sir, this means you can play your Full HD movies on this without missing a beat (via a movie that is loaded onto a memory card, of course), although your eyes might cry out for more than what the 10″ display can deliver.

Available in 10″, 8″ and 7″ sizes, it will deliver AVCHD and MP4 video playback, sporting LED backlight screens and an image processor which is capable of scaling and displaying content in high resolution glory. There is 2GB of internal memory just in case you’re out of memory cards, but if you need to get any of those portable memory totters, you can opt from SD, SDHC, SDXC Memory Card and Memory Stick PRO Duo – heck, even an USB flash drive will do. Pricing starts from $120 onwards when they arrive this September.
