We all know that times are hard – really hard these days, so it makes perfect sense if you are on the lookout for the best bargains all the time to make the most of your money. The LG Revere is one such feature phone – where it is said to be coming to Verizon Wireless without breaking the bank. The LG Revere is a clamshell phone that does seem to look as though it hailed from the early 2000s – but then again, you can’t ask for too much considering the money you fork out for it, right?

Good thing it does have its fair share of specifications and features that redeem itself – including GPS functionality, and the main advantage would be it being a tough and durable puppy. Sure, it does not have IP67 certification, but at least it is tougher than what most phones are these days. The downside? Scaled down specifications, such as a 2″ display at just 176 x 220 pixels, an external monochrome display, a basic 1.3-megapixel camera, a web browser, social networking clients, and a 1000mAh battery.

It can be purchased online from Verizon today, while those who prefer to pick it up from brick and mortar stores will need to wait until August 18th. It’s free as long as you agree to a 2-year contract.
