For those in the market for a new gaming laptop, MSI has just unveiled their newest and latest gaming laptop, the GT780DX, which they’re calling “the ultimate weapon in battle”, and if the idea of owning your friends and anonymous strangers online with the “ultimate weapon in battle” excites you, read on for its specs and features.

For starters, the GT780DX046US model will feature a 17” 1920×1080 display and will run on the second generation 2.2.GHz Intel Core i7 quad-core processor, NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 570M graphics card with 1.5GB of GDDR5 memory, and 12GB of RAM, although MSI is claiming that the laptop will be able to support up to 32GB worth of RAM. It will also come with a 750GB hard drive, a pair of USB 3.0 ports, three USB 2.0 ports, a 720p HD webcam  and will run on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

Each model will vary in specs of course, but they will feature some common specifications, such as backlit keys, including the option to just light up the W, A, S, D and CTRL keys on the left side. The “Windows” button has also been moved from the left side to the right in order to avoid any accidental presses mid game, and its CTRL and ALT keys have been enlarged to ensure you are able to press them whenever you have to.
