The Acer Allegro is the first Windows Phone handset from Acer, and initial impressions point towards it being launched later next month right before the holidays, but perhaps it might arrive sooner rather than later according to French site Rue du Commerce. It seems that Rue du Commerce claims to have the Acer Allegro already in stock, where it is being prepared for your purchase right off the shelf. Of course, since it is going to be out earlier than normal, then do expect to fork out more than usual – around $30 plus above the recommended retail price, but then again, being an early adopter always has its price. Just to refresh your memory, the Acer Allegro will come with a 3.6″ display, coupled with a 1GHz processor to run proceedings smoothly from within and 8GB of internal memory. Would you choose this over the recently introduced Nokia Lumia 710 and Lumia 800 handsets?
