Epson has just released the iProjection app, an iOS application that can broadcast documents to any (wireless) networked projector.  The user can load documents in the app, and display photos from the “Photo” library as well. As you may expect, iProjection can also serve as a remote to control some projector features like AV mute, freeze, audio settings, and more… To make it easy to load document, it is possible to send an email with an attachment to the iProjection app.

Before you get too excited, you should know that this app will not work with animated graphics, like video or PowerPoint animations. Also, it cannot mirror your iOS display onto the projector. The app is compatible with a number or formats: Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Apple Keynote, PDF, JPG and PNG. You can find the app in the app store. Here is a complete list of compatible projectors, as of today. [iProjection homepage]
