Recently, we brought you news that Nokia has released a new update for the Lumia 800 which was have said to fix the battery, although that update did not go down to well with many of the Nokia Lumia 800 users out there. In fact, there were pages and pages of comments that shared their two cents on the most recent update, which shed more light that the latest update (version 1600.2483.8106.11500) was meant to “enhance standby time as well as to bring an improvement to the issue reported by some customers in December,” and as for the bugs affecting audio as well as camera settings, you will just need to be patient – as those are said to be resolved in “a series of future updates.”

Nokia stands by their latest update that the battery life improvements are working just fine, and Nokia also recommends that your Lumia 800 will remain up to date always, where you will need to go to Settings > Phone Update and select “Notify me when updates are found”. This means you need not miss out on the next update, and in a slight marketing slant, Nokia recommends you use their original Nokia Fast USB Charger AC-16 or the Nokia Charging and Data Cable CA-185CD in order to juice up the Lumia 800 efficiently without being a possible cause of a potential battery problem.
