Do you love superlatives? Well, Toshiba certainly intends to snag two of them with the introduction of their latest model, the Toshiba Excite X10LE. Touted to be the lightest and thinnest 10″ tablet to date, the Excite X10LE will feature a brushed magnesium alloy back panel, tipping the scales at a mere 1.18lbs. Now, that is going to be hard to beat, and with a waist line of just 7.7mm, you know your hands are in for a treat. For those who still cannot grasp how thin this is for a tablet, just take the Motorola Droid RAZR into consideration – it measures a mere 7.1mm thick.

Powered by Android 3.2 Honeycomb, this particular device is in line to receive the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update in due time. The 10.1″ display sports a 1,280 × 800 resolution count, while an OMAP 4430 1.2GHz dual-core processor runs proceedings from within. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB, HDMI, and a microSD memory card slot. At the back lies a 5-megapixel camera that is capable of capturing video in 1080p resolution, while a 2-megapixel camera is up in front for video call purposes. You can pick up the Toshiba Excite X10LE in 16GB and 32GB capacities, where they retail for $529 and $599, respectively.
