If you’re in the market for a new monitor, perhaps you’d like to check out ViewSonic’s latest offering which is the VX2336s-LED, a 23” widescreen LED whose design is being marketed by the company as a “seductively curved frame with piano-black mirrored surface.” As suggestive as that might sound, chances are that will not be the reason why you would purchase that display, so here are a run down of its specs.

According to ViewSonic, the VX2336s-LED will feature the company’s exclusive SuperClear IPS technology, which supposedly provides both vertical and horizontal viewing angles as wide as 178 degrees. It also boasts Full HD 1920×1080 native resolution, 250 cd/m2 brightness, 1000:1 (typical) and 20,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratios, a 6ms response time, DVI-D and VGA inputs, energy saving in the form of an Eco-mode and will also be eco-friendly with a mercury free LED backlight.

The ViewSonic VX2336s-LED is currently shipping in Europe for £159 (~251), but will retail in the US for $299.99. [Product page] [B&H]
