Early this year, we reported that according to a rumor, the third installment of Assassin’s Creed (Assassin’s Creed 3) will take place during the American Revolution. Based on the majority of your comments, it seems that the America Revolution setting isn’t such a bad idea. Thanks to Kotaku who got the leaked photos from a Best Buy employee, it looks like those rumors might have panned out after all.
The picture you are looking at above is reportedly from the game’s promotional art, featuring what could very well be the game’s protagonist, posing in a manner that is reminiscent of the previous Assassin’s Creed games. Naturally this photo and the information cannot be confirmed or verified at the moment, but with Assassin’s Creed 3 set for a release date for the 30th of October, we’re guessing additional details and confirmation will be released along the way.
