PS3 owners, here is something that you might want to take note of. Irrational Games is proud to bring you BioShock Infinite this coming October 16th, which means there are still a fair number of months between now and then for them to polish up the game to its maximum prior to release. According to President and Creative Director Ken Levine, “After BioShock, we had a vision for a follow up that dwarfed the original in scope and ambition. BioShock Infinite has been our sole focus for the last four years, and we can’t wait for fans to get their hands on it.”

BioShock Infinite will support the PlayStation Move motion controller, but details on how it will work in the game are rather scant at the moment. Of course, if you have already set your heart on it and made up your mind, then you will be pleased to know that you will be on the receiving end of a free copy of the original BioShock on the game’s Blu-ray Disc. As for folks living outside of the US, you will have to wait for three more days after October 16th to pick up BioShock Infinite.
