The summer Olympics will be upon us very, very soon – faster than we think, considering the fast pace of life that we live these days. I guess those who placed a pre-order for the Acer Iconia Tab A510 Olympic Edition a few weeks ago will be pleased to hear that it is finally on sale, where this Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich powered tablet that runs on an NVIDIA Tegra 3 chipset will be able to pick one up for $450 over at Amazon or if you like, the Acer Store itself. At the back, you will find the five rings that make up the Olympics logo engraved, and you can choose from either black or white shades, although it seems as though the former is the only one that ships at the moment.

As for the rest of the hardware specifications of the Acer Iconia Tab A510 Olympic Edition, allow me to lead you down memory lane. It will be equipped with 32GB of internal memory, 1GB RAM, a 1280 x 800 resolution display, a 5-megapixel camera at the back, and a 1-megapixel camera in front for video calls as well as decent looking self portraits. According to Acer, the Acer Iconia Tab A510 Olympic Edition will be able to outlast a marathon with its 12 hours of battery life, but will it be able to outrun Usain Bolt?
