If you’re shopping about for a new gaming laptop, specifications of ASUS’ upcoming G55VW-DS71 15.6” model has been revealed. The laptop will feature an entry-level Intel Core i7-3610QM Ivy Bridge processor, 12GB of DDR3 1333MHz RAM that can be expanded to 16GB, and will come with two drive bays which will allow users to house hard drives, hybrid drives or even SSDs. It will also come with a 750GB 7,200rpm HDD and a DVD burner which can be upgraded to Blu-ray. As far as its GPU is concerned, the ASUS G55VW-DS71 will come with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660M graphics card with 2GB GDDR5 of VRAM. So how much will this setup cost you? Assuming you were to buy it at those specs, you can expect to fork out $1,475 for it. Apparently the laptop is up for pre-order from online retailer HIDevolution.com but going to its page does not reveal the laptop. Perhaps someone might have let the cat out of the bag a bit too early and the page could have since been pulled, but do check back with us later for more updates.
