While pretty much everyone knows that the Galaxy Nexus is headed Sprint’s way, unfortunately no official launch/release date has been mentioned. Sure we have the rumored release date pegged for the 22nd of April, but can we trust that? Maybe we can. According to Phandroid, they have received photos of what appears to be posters for the upcoming Galaxy Nexus for Sprint’s network. Marked rather boldly on the packaging of the posters is a date for the 15th of April, Sunday, which is when the posters are expected to go on display. With the posters going up a good week before the rumored launch date, it would not be a stretch of the imagination to think that the 22nd of April launch date could very well pan out. Interestingly despite rumors of the Galaxy Nexus for Sprint being LTE-capable, there is no mention of its LTE-capabilities mentioned in the poster. We’re guessing that Sprint will probably want to roll out more coverage before boasting about it on their posters, least they face customer complaints like Apple did with the 4G LTE marketing of their new iPad.
