NuForce has announced a new set of speakers which they’re calling the Cube All-In-One Mobile Audio Center, a set of speakers which they refer to as a triple threat for music lovers on the go. So why triple threat? According to the design of the Cube, the speaker packs three different connectivity options – two 3.5mm audio jacks, one for plugging in a portable media player, smartphone or tablet, and another for headphones, both of which are expected to double as a headphone amp that will reportedly boost the audio of headphones and “ensure that the headphones provide all the clarity, detail and power they’re designed to deliver.”

Next up is the USB DAC which will connect to computers and laptops via the USB port. NuForce claims that the Cube will be able to bypass the computer’s on-board DAC and provide an improvement in sound quality. If all these features sound good to you, you might be shocked to learn that the NuForce Cube measures a tiny 2” all around, making it slightly bigger than the Apple iPod nano. We can’t speak for the Cube’s sound quality since we don’t actually the device ourselves, but if you think that this sounds like a portable speaker solution you’d like to have, the NuForce Cube is currently retailing for $119.
