Did you watch Wolverine in Real Steel? All right, so it is rather hard for me to disassociate Hugh Jackman with his Wolverine character that he fit to a “T”, so do forgive me here. Folks who watched Real Steel should be able to remember the bond between boy and machine, where the latter seemingly “saved” the former from a certain plunge into the abyss, and the journey to fame and the world’s adoration began in a junkyard. Back to reality, Takara Tomy has come up with a personal robot fighting game known as Omnibot BATTROBOT, where you will remotely control a boxing robot and have it go bolt-to-bolt against another robot (from Takara Tomy too, of course).

I guess some of you might call this to be a “real steal” from the movie instead! Jokes aside, Takara Tomy’s control scheme for the Omnibot BATTROBOT is also questionable in terms of its origin, as it does seem to resemble the Wiimote from Nintendo that might be deemed as too close for comfort, as there might be the possibility of legal eagles landing at Takara Tomy’s offices.
