Android users, if you wished that Microsoft had created an Xbox Live app for your mobile devices, your wish has come true. An official Xbox Live app for your Android device is now available via the Google Play store and basically it does what you’ve been hoping it does. This includes the ability to track your achievements, watch gaming videos, change your avatar, send and receive messages from friends and edit your profile while on the go. While we’ve yet to try this out for ourselves, the folks at Droid-Life have expressed their pleasure at the user experience, which is apparently utilizes the same Metro UI design that is being used on Windows Phone devices. So if you’re an Xbox gamer and you’d like the ability to stay connected with your friends and achievements on the go, pop on over to the Google Play store for the free download.
