If you own the LG Spectrum and you’re eagerly awaiting the release of Android 4.0 for your phone, it seems that the release could be close at hand. This is thanks to an LG employee who responded to a forumer’s question about when they would able to see Android 4.0 ICS arrive on their phone. Assuming he has his facts right, he claims that the update is very close to a release and are basically waiting on a FOTA date from Verizon. In the meantime the employee has also suggested that LG Spectrum owners keep an eye out on the LG updates page where news of the update should be posted once it has gone official. Alternatively LG Spectrum owners are more than welcome to check back with us too as we will keep you guys posted once the update has been announced! With a leaked ROM making its rounds back in May, we guess we’re not too surprised to learn that the official release could be just around the corner.
