If you happen to own an Asus Transformer TF101 tablet, then you will probably be excited to learn that a software update – version 9.2.1.27 – is coming your way. Asus has just rolled out the tad update today, and while the update doesn’t exactly bring Jelly Bean to the device, the minute updates does bring a bunch of fixes that owners have been waiting for. The update brings fixes to the Chrome browser and black screen issues.

There’s also a fix for the reported “Mobile Dock Battery saving mode” bug and the movie playback hang issue. Enhancements to the device’s email, AppBackup , and MyLibrary are also included in the update. So, if you own an Asus Transformer TF101 tablet, you can check for the system update via the tablet’s “Settings” menu. Users who were able to download the update are saying that it has improved the overall performance of the tablet as well.
