Who would have thought that Disney would come up with something other than feel good cartoons and family shows that bring a smile to your face? Well, the company has come up with this unique Interactive Plant Technology known as Botanicus Interacticus. This particular technology was specially designed for an experience with highly expressive interactive plants, regardless of whether they are living or artificial. Here we are presented with a way where livings plants can double up as an interactive medium.

The
Botanicus Interacticus is unique in its very own way as it does not damage the plants at all, and will require only a single wire that is located anywhere in the plant soil, paving the way for a rich and expressive interaction with plants. You are able to use gestures including sliding fingers on the stem of the orchid, where it can also detect touch and grasp location, track proximity between human and a plant, while letting estimating the right number of touch contact, among others. No idea on how much it will cost though.
