Drop tests are a good way to see how durable your phone might be in a real life situation, but we have to admit that it is a pretty painful thing to watch. In any case if you were wondering how the Nokia Lumia 920 holds up, the folks at Phone Buff have conducted a drop test of their own. Interestingly instead of just dropping the phone, they have attempted to simulate how we might accidentally drop the phone ourselves in real life, such as pulling it out of our pockets and having it slip and fall to the pavement. They even put the phone in the hands of a baby who proceeded to drop it. So far based on their test, the Nokia Lumia 920 was relatively unscathed save for a few scuff marks here and there. Once again this can hardly be called scientific, but because they attempted to simulate real life scenarios, it might give you an idea of what to expect. In any case if you’ve got a few minutes to spare, check out the drop test in the video above.
