With it being 2013, the Samsung Galaxy S2 is a device that’s almost two years old and it looks like Samsung isn’t quite ready to let go of it yet and has since announced the Galaxy S2 Plus. As far as the exterior design of the phone is concerned, it looks pretty much like the Galaxy S2, although it’s the internals of the phone that got a revamp. So what can you look forward to in the Galaxy S2 Plus? Well for starters the most notable improvement would be the fact that it comes with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean on board, along with Samsung’s TouchWiz Nature UX. On the hardware front it will feature a 4.3” WVGA Super AMOLED Plus display, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor accompanied by 1GB of RAM, an 8MP rear-facing camera, a 2MP front-facing camera, 8GB of internal storage expandable via microSD and will come in an NFC and non-NFC version. Unfortunately at this time there is no word on pricing or availability, but if we had to venture a guess, and taking into consideration that the Galaxy S2 is relatively old, it would be safe to assume that the Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus will not be burning a hole in your wallet.
