A rose, by any other name, would smell just as sweet. I guess the same applies to the Asus ME371MG, where it is also known as the Fonepad K004 just in case you were wondering. In fact, it has been priced at $265 in, of all places, Thailand – which ain’t too shabby actually. The Asus ME371MG tablet is basically one that is pocket-friendly, not only in terms of size but price, where it will certainly offer the Nexus 7 a run for its money in terms of pricing details.

We did hope to catch more information concerning the Asus ME371MG at the recently concluded CES last month, but there was nary a peep from the folks over at Asus. Ah well, since good things come to all of those who wait, here we are with more information concerning the Asus ME371MG. A Thai online retailer revealed the price for this bad boy, where it will run on an Intel Atom Z2420 processor which clocks in at 1.2GHz, accompanied by 1GB RAM and 16GB of internal memory. The 7” IPS display will sport a 1280 x 800 resolution, where it will also feature GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
