Do you sometimes wish that things would revert to the good old days? I am referring to moments when you only had a single email account, which obviously means there is only one password to remember, where there was no need to worry about having a minimum number of characters in addition to throwing in a mixture of numbers and letters with at least a single uppercase letter. Fast forward to today and we have multiple user accounts of so many online services and apps, and since we are discouraged from having to use the same password across multiple accounts for security purposes, one’s brain would certainly need to work overtime to ensure that all goes well. Lenovo thinks that they have a solution with the introduction of Lenovo Reach.
Apart from working on its computer business, Lenovo, too, has an interest in expanding their horizons to include the smartphone and tablet markets. Lenovo Reach is an interesting idea, where this cloud service lets you stash your data on a server with 5GB of free space, in addition to letting you store your precious passwords. This means you have only one login and password to remember, and while such a service is not new to the market, it is definitely encouraging to see another option arrive. Lenovo Reach will also deliver a consistent user interface regardless of the device you use to access it on, so that life is easier as you are all too familiar with it. The final version of Lenovo Reach ought to go live later in 2013.
