I am quite certain that quite a few of those who took part in our Xbox One vs PS4 debate would want their respective consoles on the very day that they are released by either Microsoft or Sony. Both consoles have been up for pre-order for quite some time now, though it is not yet known when the companies will start shipping their latest consoles. We’ve gradually been seeing retailers selling out of pre-orders, the same has happened at Best Buy, which is no longer accepting pre-orders for Xbox One: Day One Edition.

This particular edition comes with release day delivery guarantee. A similar edition for the PS4 was also up for pre-order, which has now been sold out at Amazon. If you want release date delivery, Best Buy is one retailer you can cross off your list. GameStop and Walmart are still taking pre-orders, though it can’t be said when their inventories will sell out. Best Buy is still taking pre-orders for the Standard Edition of Xbox One, if having it the day it is released doesn’t matter to you.
