According to recent reportsRicoh-GXR, it seems that that Ricoh could be set to release a new GXR camera. According to several observations, some of Ricoh’s GXR configurations have been listed as discontinued for the past few months, with remaining models having been heavily discounted. Signs that a new product could be coming soon are usually seen when a product has been listed as discontinued from a retailer, indicating that the supplier either has no more stock left due to the half of production, or they have been instructed by the company to stop supplying while waiting for the newer model. In any case the specifications of Ricoh’s next GXR camera remain a bit of a mystery for now, but the rumors are simply saying that the company is working on a new model and with the discontinuations having been spotted, hopefully it’s a sign that an official announcement from Ricoh will not be far off. We’ll keep our eyes peeled so for those looking forward to new GXR cameras from Ricoh, check back with us at a later date for the details.
