Nokia Lumia 1520 Rumored For Early November Release, Comes With 3,400mAh Battery

nokia-lumia-1520For those interested in getting their hands on Nokia’s upcoming phablet, the Lumia 1520, you might have heard an earlier rumor that suggested that the device would be announced on the 26th of September at an event Nokia will be holding in New York City, but the next question is when will the handset be made available? Well according to the folks at Windows Phone Central, they claim to have learnt that the Lumia 1520 is expected to see a release early November and is expected to make its way onto AT&T’s network, although there was no mention of other carriers so it could be an AT&T exclusive.

It has been suggested that the November launch is because Windows Phone 8 GDR3 is not yet complete and ready for the masses, and to be honest an end of September release of the update does seem unlikely given that not all handsets have received the GDR2 update, so a November release would not be out of the question. Some additional specs of the handset has also been revealed and according to the reports, the Lumia 1520 is said to feature a 3,400mAh battery which makes it almost comparable to the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 with its 3,200mAh battery. Take it with a grain of salt for now, but hopefully more details will be revealed towards the end of September, so check back with us then for the details.
