lg-g2-review-04It was a few months ago that LG launched the LG G2 which was the South Korean tech company’s flagship smartphone for 2013. It was an impressive handset and it also featured a new design from the company (which some have compared to Samsung’s designs) and also packed a pretty decent camera that could give the Nokia Lumia 1020 a run for its money in terms of low-light photography. That being said, we’re sure many are interested in seeing what the LG G3 could have to offer, but is it too soon to start hearing about LG G3 rumors?

Well make what you will of it, but recent rumors have surfaced regarding the potential specifications of the upcoming handset. For starters it is believed that just like other phones before it, like the Vivo Xplay 3S and the upcoming Oppo Find 7, and the rumor specs of the Samsung Galaxy S5, the LG G3 is rumored to feature a 2560×1440 display, although no word on screen size just yet. Additional specs include an octa-core processor which is rumored to be of LG’s own make, and a 16MP rear-facing camera. No word on when the LG G3 will be launched, but some are speculating it could be earlier than expected in a bid to make up for “disappointing” LG G2 sales.

Take it with a grain of salt for now, but we’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for more details as they surface. In the meantime what do you guys make of the rumored specs so far? It seems that 2014 could the year of QHD displays!
