Back in June Sony announced the list of devices that are slated to receive the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update in the near future. The company confirmed that Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR, Xperia Tablet Z, Xperia SP, and the Xperia Z Ultra would be updated to Android 4.3. December is here and the year is about to end, Xperia users are now waiting eagerly as ever for the update to drop on their respective devices. Today, screenshots of the Android 4.3 update for Sony Xperia ZL have been leaked online.

As per speculation, it is possible that Sony might start releasing the update later this month, however it hasn’t officially confirmed the release date as yet. One major change noticeable in these screenshots is that the user interface has gone black on white, similar to how it is on the Xperia Z1 with Android 4.2.2. Apart from screen calibration and camera improvements, no other major changes are expected to be included in the Android 4.3 update. Xperia owners must wait for Android 4.3 to drop first before some of them can be moved on to Android 4.4’s chocolatey goodness. Sony has already confirmed the list of devices that will receive Android 4.4 KitKat, however it hasn’t revealed exactly when KitKat will be rolled out for these devices. 2014 would be a good guess.
