galaxy-s5-preview-mwc2014-36We’re sure that many out there would love to get their hands on the Samsung Galaxy S5. After all the device was one of the highly anticipated smartphones of 2014, and for the most part Samsung has never disappointed with its Galaxy S series of Android handsets.

Now we know that AT&T has announced that they will soon begin taking pre-orders for the handset, but what about the other carriers? When will they see the Galaxy S5? Well the good news for T-Mobile customers is that they too have announced that come 24th of March, they will be taking pre-orders for the Galaxy S5.

The good news is that unlike AT&T which requires you to pay a fee upfront and locking you to a two-year contract, T-Mobile has waived that. Instead customers won’t have to put a downpayment on the phone, but they will be required to sign up with the carrier for the next 24 months.

Unfortunately it seems that the $0 downpayment is a promotional offer and will only be valid until the 31st of March, so if you’re looking to save yourself a couple hundred dollars, perhaps T-Mobile might be your carrier of choice.

Safe to say that the handset is pretty popular because last we checked, there were over 300,000 signups for the Galaxy S5 on T-Mobile. The handset hasn’t been released yet, of course, but the signups are an indication that many customers are indeed interested in getting their hands on the device.

Hopefully T-Mobile will have enough stock to please everyone! In the meantime if this $0 downpayment offer sounds very tempting, you’ll want to mark your calendars for the 24th of March so as not to miss out on the deal.
