lg-optimus-3-boostThey say that good things come to those who wait, and if you have been patient enough, you would have realized that the LG Optimus F3, although not a high end smartphone and having been announced by T-Mobile last year, is a decent performer for those who are on the market for an entry level Android-powered device. We are pleased to inform those who have been waiting to pick up the LG Optimus F3 sans contract that this is finally possible via Boost Mobile, where the carrier is asking for $129.99 a pop.

The LG Optimus F3 can be purchased from other carriers such as Sprint and T-Mobile since summer last year, but better late than never for it to arrive on Boost Mobile, right? At $129.99 per handset, you will end up with a smartphone that comes with a 4” display at 800 x 480 resolution, a 5MP camera at the back with LED flash, a 1.3 MP front-facing camera, a dual core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 4GB of internal memory which can be further augmented thanks to a microSD memory card slot, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, GPS support, NFC capability, 4G LTE, and a 2,460 mAh battery. Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean would be the operating system version of choice, and it does not look too likely that it will receive an update anytime soon.
