img_prd_01_lFinal Fantasy is one of those games where it has a long, loyal, and dedicated fan following, which is why we can only imagine that many fans out there will be disappointed to learn that Square Enix/Sony will only be selling 1,400 units of the limited edition PlayStation 4 bundle in the photo above.

Pictured above is a limited edition console bundle designed for Square Enix’s MMORPG, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. The game was launched for the PC not too long ago and this particular bundle is expected to go on sale in Japan on the 14th of April where it will retail for 45,180 yen, which is about $437 when converted.

For a limited edition console, it is actually pretty decently priced and isn’t too far off from the original asking price of the PS4 which is set at $399. The bundle will include the PlayStation 4 console itself, a copy of the game on disc, and a laser etched hard drive bay cover. While it does not look particularly imposing or impressive, we reckon that there are fans out there who would love to get their hands on it anyway.

It seems that the bundle is also an exclusive to the Sony Store in Japan but we can only imagine that there will be enterprising gamers who will buy the bundle and resell it overseas where it could potentially fetch a higher price amongst gamers and collectors. So, who wouldn’t mind getting their hands on this limited edition bundle?
