qodeBack in October 2013, Belkin announced the QODE which is basically a keyboard accessory for the iPad. Well it looks like after months of it having been announced, Belkin has officially announced that the QODE is now available for purchase, which is a little strange but better late than never, right?

For those who missed the announcement from last year, the QODE is essentially a keyboard accessory that is usable together with the iPad. The accessory is made from anodized aluminum and measures just 4mm thin, and based on its design, it could pass off as an Apple keyboard, which is actually great for those who are fans of Apple’s product design.

The QODE does not cover the entire iPad, but rather its display, so if you were looking for a keyboard case, perhaps you’ll want to look elsewhere. That being said, the QODE will allow for up to 79 hours of use or 3,100 hours on standby. There will be keys that perform iOS-specific functions such as copy and paste, volume adjustments, and so on.

The QODE will be available in both white and gray and will be priced at $99.99. For those interested in picking up a QODE for themselves, you can head on over to Amazon or Belkin’s website to check it out.
