LG_Infinim_500Headphones that are bundled with our smartphones aren’t usually of the best quality, at least as far as audiophiles are concerned who be more picky when it comes to sound quality. Well the good news is that if you were looking for a Bluetooth headset that you can use with your mobile device, LG has announced the LG Tone Infinim.

If you’re wondering why the device looks so familiar, it is because it was back in 2013 that LG announced the LG Tone, a Bluetooth headset which the LG Tone Infinim seems to draw its design inspiration from. However the difference here is that with the Tone Infinim, LG will be collaborating with Harman/Kardon to help boost the audio quality of the device.

While the LG G3 has yet to be officially announced, LG claims that the Tone Infinim will be the perfect accessory for the handset. “LG’s newest premium headset co-developed with Harman/Kardon will be the perfect companion device to complement our new flagship smartphone LG G3, offering superior sound for a superior phone,” according to LG’s president and CEO, Dr. Jong-seok Park.

As far as features are concerned, it’s pretty much your standard Bluetooth headset. It will feature a battery life of 550 hours on standby, 17 hours talk time, 14 hours of continuous media playback, and a jog button that lets you scroll through songs. A vibrate function will also be present to help notify you of calls and incoming messages.

The price of the LG Tone Infinim has yet to be determined, but it is expected to see a release worldwide this summer, but no specific dates have been mentioned either. In the meantime what do you guys think? Anyone planning on picking one up for themselves?
