Gamers who have played Diablo 3 have probably come across Treasure Goblin mobs on more than one occasion. For the most part, Treasure Goblins don’t really drop very good loot. They drop a ton of gold, gems, and crafting mats, but usually gamers would be better off farming regular mobs for set items or legendaries.

That being said, it looks like Blizzard is trying to make chasing after Treasure Goblins a more attractive alternative. As you might have heard, Diablo 3 Patch 2.1 is currently in the works and one of the new features of the patch would be Greed’s Domain. It is a portal that has a chance of opening whenever a Treasure Goblin has been killed.

The room will be filled with breakable objects that will drop lots of gold and gems, and gamers will also be able to face off against the boss, Greed, the Baroness of the Treasure Realm. Upon killing her, there will be a humongous chest where even more gold and gems will drop, along with the chance of legendary items as well.

If you’re curious about how Greed’s Domain looks like, check out the video above to see it in action. So gamers, does this make hunting Treasure Goblins a bit more enticing than it was before?
