Google Glass is already quite an expensive product on its own. Despite the fact that its a wearable device, and many expect these devices to cost a couple of hundred dollars at most, Glass costs a whopping $1,500 since technically the units being sold are “Explorer Editions” and not retail units. But if you’ve got lots of money lying around you can choose to pair Glass with frames from world famous designer Diane von Furstenberg.

The DVF Google Glass frames are a result of the partnership between Mountain View and the designer and they were initially released only in the U.S. It merits mentioning here that Glass remained exclusive to the U.S. for quite some time before it was finally put up for sale in the UK.

A day after the London Fashion Week wrapped up it has been announced that DVF Google Glass frames will now be available for purchase in the UK. The frames will be stocked by retailer Net-A-Porter, some clip-on shades will also be stocked by the retailer.

These pastel colored frames have been designed by Diane von Furstenberg and are available in Shiny Elderberry, Shiny Lagoon, Matte Java, Matte Ice and Shiny Ink. Customers can choose from five different bundles at Net-A-Porter, each bundle costs a hefty £1,250.
