While the Sony Xperia Z3 has yet to fully roll out to all markets, rumors of Sony’s next smartphone have surfaced. Sony’s next smartphone, presumably the Xperia Z4, is said to be quite a beast and a handset in which Sony will be pulling out all the stops for. Of course it is a bit early to start thinking about the Xperia Z4, but it’s still worth discussing anyway.
According to the rumors, Sony will be going all out. The Xperia Z4 is rumored to feature a 5.5-inch QHD display and will sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset under the hood, which will truly make it quite a device to behold. The rumors are also suggesting 4GB of RAM that will take advantage of Android 5.0’s 64-bit architecture, and will come with 32GB of storage out of the box.
As for the camera, here’s where it gets interesting. The rumor has revealed that the Xperia Z4 will sport a curved Exmor sensor while maintaining its 20MP resolution. The Xperia Z4 has also been rumored to support LTE Cat 6, Bluetooth 4.1, and will introduce amplifiers to help boost the sound of its stereo speakers.
Sounds amazing, doesn’t it? It also sounds a lot like a wishlist of hardware specs that one could wish for in a phone, so do take it with a very huge dose of salt for now, but what do you guys think? What are the chances of these specs being remotely true?
