staybrellaYou know what they say – if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Nendo of Japan has taken a close look at the classic umbrella, and decided that there is still some work left to be done in order to refine it, which is why they have come up with a brand new umbrella design that certainly makes your old one look as though it is a relic of the 18th century. Known as the “Stay-Brella“, it will sport a revolutionary two-pronged handle so that it is capable of standing on its own against a wall or surface, and yet retains the classic ability to be hung from any surface.

Not only does the Stay-Brella help to keep you nice and dry, it will also sport a special kind of fabric that has been coated in order to prevent up to 90% of UV rays from coming in – after all, excessive UV rays are not good for your skin, and it would certainly accelerate the ageing process. The special fabric will also be attached to a six-spoke frame while there is a black handle that splits up at the bottom. Majority of the umbrellas are required to be stashed away in an umbrella stand, but this model lets you have it stand on its own, and hang securely from tables as well as remain propped up on a wall when not in use.
