paypal-galaxy-s5It looks like even the world of fast food has caught up with the mobile payment train, where PayPal recently announced on how it will be integrated alongside apps from Burger King. This initiative would then enable customers to make meal purchases directly from the fast food chain through the payments service itself.

Hill Ferguson, chief product officer at PayPal, shared, “We will be rolling out later this quarter across the United States to all locations, BK restaurant guests will be able to securely pay with PayPal by simply launching the app and when they select to pay with PayPal they will be prompted with a four digit pin to pay.”

It is not a surprising move at all, taking into consideration how less than a couple of months ago, Apple did share on how McDonald’s is ready to accept Apple’s new mobile payments service, Apple Pay. Do you think the world of mobile payments service will grow and expand rapidly in the near future? Will other fast food joints also jump aboard this bandwagon, and ultimately, will there be relevant security measures in place? Most of it would involve learning along the way, I’ll say, which is not necessarily a bad thing at all. [Press Release]
