gta-online-festive-surprise

I’m sure that many of us are quietly slipping into the festive mood this time of the year, with the holidays just around the corner, and Rockstar has deemed it fit to provide us all with a bit of a surprise. It rolled out a new update for GTA 5’s online mode today which revolves around the festive theme. The update itself is called GTA Online “Festive Surprise,” and makes some fun additions to the game, like the ability to have snowfights.

There’s new gear to be had at Ammu-Nation, have a blast with the Homing Missile Launcher and Proximity Mines. They won’t go away once the festive season ends, this new gear is going to be permanently available to purchase and keep.

“On a few special days this holiday season,” the game will have a rare sony day or too. The San Andreas snowfall will happen on a select few days and gamers will be able to bring their Crew together and have a snowball fight.

Other additions include new holiday pajamas, ‘ugly’ Christmas sweaters, new masks, hats and much more available for free to add to the inventory. This will only be available between now and Monday, January 5th.

There are four new vehicles as well, the Hot Rod Christmas Ratloader, Slam Van, Massacro and Jester cars with new liveries. Cars are permanent additions.

The entire list of changes this update brings is available on the official Rockstar website.
