preorder_ps4_02So we know that Capcom is working on a remastered version of Resident Evil, but is that all the company is looking to remake? Well according to a recent sighting by the folks on the NeoGAF forums, it seems that there is a chance that Capcom could also be working on a remastered version of Resident Evil Zero.

According to the forum poster, “Capcom updated their Japanese site with some screens of the PS4 pre-order theme you get for Biohazard Remaster HD. However, what caught mine and some others eyes on this one screen in particular was that there appeared to be a Biohazard Zero game icon on their PS4 menu.”

Some are under the impression that a remaster/remake of Resident Evil Zero is the next logical step for the company to pursue. However previously the game’s producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi also mentioned how difficult it was to port the original game, especially due to the fact that they had relied on pre-rendered backgrounds at that time.

Of course this could also mean that Capcom has taken away some valuable lessons and experience which could make Resident Evil Zero’s port a lot smoother, but that’s just speculation for now, but what do you guys think? Would you like to see a Resident Evil Zero remaster?
