A few months ago, Capcom confirmed that Resident Evil Revelations 2 would be arriving in 2015 but they did not provide us with a specific release date. Well the good news is that if you were looking forward to the game, Capcom has recently confirmed that the game will be released on the 18th of February.

The game will be released in episodes and the first episode will arrive on the 18th of February. This will be followed by episodes 2, 3, and 4 which will arrive on the 25th of February, 4th of March, and 11th of March respectively, and they are all expected to be priced at 5 GBP each. Gamers who wish to purchase all at once can do so at 19.99 GBP and get two additional spin-off episodes as well as an additional Raid mode character.

For gamers who’d rather not be teased by the staggered release of the episodes, Capcom has also confirmed that the full boxed retail release will be taking place on the 13th of February which will include everything mentioned above, including a new Raid character in the form of Albert Wesker, four alternative costumes, and an additional Raid stage.

This means that we still have a few more months to go until we can get our hands on the game, but in the meantime gamers can check out the second trailer in the video above.
