Bored with Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and wishing for an expansion? Get your calendar out and mark the date. Activision has confirmed the first Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare DLC release date. Called Havoc, the DLC will only be launched on the Xbox first, keeping in line with the Call of Duty tradition. Other platforms will have to wait a month or so for Havoc to arrive. This is the first of four planned CoD: Advanced Warfare DLC packs.

Kevin Spacey played a main character in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and its first DLC is bringing more Hollywood star power. Bill Paxton, John Malkovich, Rose McGowan and Jon Bernthal are all going to play characters in the new Exo Zombies mode. If you’re wondering, this mode straps Exo suits to zombies.

The Exo Zombies mode has a story that concerns a DNA bioweapon which is responsible for the zombie takeover of an Atlas research facility. It plays out through the eyes of four “un-trained and underprepared” Atlas corporation employees played by the people named above.

Also included in the first Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare DLC release are four new multiplayer maps called Core, Urban, Sideshow and Drift, a custom weapon variant called AE4 Widowmaker and a completely new weapon that is the AE4 directed energy assault rifle.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Havoc DLC will be available for the Xbox on January 27th.
