Mobile World Congress is usually when quite a few manufacturers show off their new smartphones. HTC has already lined up an event on March 1st and Samsung is reportedly going to show off the Galaxy S6 on March 2nd. One would have expected LG to show off its new flagship at the event as well but apparently that’s not the case. A Korean publication claims to have heard from an LG executive that the company will not announce the G4 at MWC 2015.

There have already been many rumors and leaks about the LG G4. The G-series has cemented LG’s position as a player to watch out for in the smartphone market and many are excited to see what’s new in the company’s upcoming flagship.

If reports are to be believed that LG G4 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 with 3GB RAM. It will have a Quad HD display, 16 megapixel rear camera and Android 5.0.

A Korean publication reports today that it has heard from an LG executive that the company will not show off the G4 at MWC 2015. Since the G3 was rolled out in May last year perhaps one should expect a similar timeline for this new device. The executive cited in this report says that LG is going to use this additional time for “perfecting the new phone.”
