Nokia Lumia 830 Gold Edition Set For China Reveal?

830-gold-editionIt seems that the Nokia Lumia 830 is set to roll out in China – in a special gold edition, of course. I have yet to meet a single person who does not like to have to do anything with gold, this is for sure. This particular launch is said to happen this coming January 8th – which is a Thursday, where CES 2015 would have kicked off in full swing by then. It will be a limited edition model (no kidding) complete with a gold leather back.

The promotional image for the handset does not do the job of mentioning just which model would be on the receiving end of the Midas touch, but an image of the Lumia 830 in gold has already made its rounds on a Chinese social media site. At the back of the handset lie the words “Limited Edition.”

In order to refresh our memories, the Lumia 830 is nothing much to shout about with a 5” display alongside a resolution count of 720 x 1280. There is also a quad-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 CPU that will power the device thanks to an Adreno 305 GPU shouldering the graphics load. Apart from that, there is also 1GB RAM, 16GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot, a 10MP camera at the back with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), a front-facing 0.9MP shooter, and a 2,200mAh battery.
