htc-m9-leakedIt goes without saying that the flagship smartphone from HTC, the HTC One (M8), is all set to see a successor roll out some time later this year, where it will be known as the HTC One (M9) – for now, at least. Not only that, in order to keep up with the times, the HTC One (M9) will also be accompanied by what is called the HTC One (M9) Plus, where both models would share the codename Hima. It was speculated in the past that the HTC One (M9) will arrive with a 5” display, and it seems that the latest whispers on the street from @upleaks do point to the HTC One (M9) Plus to carry a 5.2” display, which is not too large as what one would have expected.

Perhaps the reason for the HTC One (M9) Plus to come with a 5.2” display would be for it to carry a resolution count of 1,440 x 2,560 pixels, since the 5” HTC One (M9) is touted to sport a mere 1,080 x 1,920 pixels resolution. Apart from that, the HTC One (M9) Plus will allegedly sport a physical home button, which the smaller version of the handset is said to skip out on – where the home button is touted to be a fingerprint scanner.

Well, like all other rumors out there, it is only a matter of time before it gets confirmed or debunked – so we will just sit tight and see.
