The annual convention where Minecraft fans gather to celebrate their favorite title is back. Mojang has confirmed the Minecon 2015 dates. The convention is returning this year after skipping 2014. Mojang expects more than 10,000 people to attend the festivities which take place in London. The previous convention took place in Orlando back in 2013 and over 7,000 people showed up.
At Minecon 2015 attendees can expect folks from Mojang along with major YouTube creators. There will also be contests, tournaments, panels, events and a show for the Saturday night bash.
Ticket sales will open up later this month. Mojang will provide more information about ticket sales over the next two weeks. They will be available from minecon.mojang.com but keep in mind that they tend to sell out soon.
In order to accommodate different schedules tickets will be sold in two batches on the same day, just at different times. There will be 5,000 tickets in each batch. Those who purchase the ticket will also get access to discounted hotel pricing.

The Minecon 2015 dates are July 4th and July 5th, 2015. It will take place at the ExCeL London Exhibition and Conference Centre.
