oxygenos_1We know that OnePlus is working on their own Android ROM which was officially announced as OxygenOS. Now for those who did not download the alpha and are curious as to what the platform could look like, the folks at GizmoChina have managed to get their hands on what appears to screenshots of the upcoming operating system.

From what we can tell, it seems that OnePlus is adopting a flat and colorful design much like what Google themselves have done with Android 5.0 Lollipop. The colors chosen by OnePlus appear to be bold and solid which is a nice choice. The weather app is also rather simplistic and straightforward in nature and displays the temperature along with some background images.

oxygenos_2These images appear to be rather abstract in nature but presumably they are meant to depict the weather, like the screenshot that shows 38C shows what seems to be a blazing sun in the background, while the 14C screenshot shows a more cooling design that might indicate that it is raining/cloudy.

Unfortunately not much else is shown in the screenshots so we have no idea how the rest of the operating system looks like, and for all we know these screenshots might not even be final. OnePlus is expected to share more details about OxygenOS come 12th of February so do check back with us then for the details.
