Surface Pro 3 Price Gets A $100 Cut

Microsoft has left no opportunity pass to remind users that its Surface Pro 3 tablet is the perfect MacBook Air alternative. Promotions and deals are just some of the ways the company tries to bump up sales of its tablet and its doing something similar once again. For a limited time Microsoft has cut the Surface Pro 3 price by $100 for customers in the United States.

Five variants of the Surface Pro 3 are sold by Microsoft out of which four have received the $100 price cut. Not only is Microsoft providing a $100 discount in this deal it will also give customers a free protective sleeve to go with the tablet.

The 128GB and 256GB i5 variants as well as the 256GB and 512GB i7 variants are the ones that have received the discount. The 64GB i3 Surface Pro 3 tablet, which is the entry level tablet, remains true to its $799 usual price.

With $100 off the Core i5 128GB and 256GB variants cost $899 and $1,199 respectively. Customers can pick up the Core i7 256GB and 512GB variants for $1,449 and $1,849 respectively.

Each customer can only purchase up to three tablets during this sale which runs until February 7th, 2015. Microsoft has said that it will continue to provide the free sleeve with each purchase of a Surface Pro 3 until April 5th.

The tablets can either be purchased directly from Microsoft online or through participating retailers across the country.
